Nutrition counseling may be covered by your health insurance, often with little or no out-of-pocket cost depending on your individual plan and benefits. I participate with several major insurance plans and will submit claims directly for clients with eligible in-network coverage.

I am an in-network Registered Dietitian provider with many major insurance plans. If I participate with your specific plan, I will submit claims directly to your insurance company.
If I am not in-network with your insurance plan, you may still be eligible for reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits. Payment is due at the time of your visit, and I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
Insurance coverage for nutrition counseling varies depending on your individual plan. Some plans cover visits with a Registered Dietitian at 100%, while others may require a copay, coinsurance, or deductible. I recommend contacting your insurance company before your first appointment to verify your nutrition counseling benefits and any potential out-of-pocket costs.
